Teaching methods of my cooperating teacher
As I am an Early Childhood major, we only get to observe for a short time since the classes only run for about 45 minutes. I observed the English class of Kindergarten with 18 pupils led by Miss Ruby and what I noticed about her is that she always makes sure that all of her pupils are able to participate and asks them questions. That is what I admire about her the most since she doesn't let any of her students to feel left out.
Miss Ruby began her class with an energetic English song about greetings and I was delighted to see all of her students participate obediently and even let us join. After the energizer, she lay some ground rules such as; to raise their hands if they want to recite or ask permission to do something, to keep quiet and not disturb the person beside them, and to listen.
I noticed that she is very consistent in letting everyone have their turns and acknowledges their ideas, opinions, and if they want to share their thoughts. When the children had a hard time saying English greetings such as, "good morning to all," she would make sure that they would say it correctly.
Another thing that I noticed from her is that she always kneel when her students want to tell her something. This move is a really good show of building rapport and trust to the children because they would feel valued and respected, and makes communication with them more effective.
These are the things that I was able to record during our short observation of Miss Ruby and I can say that I really haven't had anything negative to comment about since the children that day are also obedient and participative, and my cooperating teacher was able to handle them and she teaches well.

Learning Materials and Innovation
During the time I observed the class, Miss Ruby did songs, role-playing activities, and games. She let her pupils greet each other, along with hugs and handshakes. It was a fun and enjoyable experience to witness the children learn how to greet each other politely.
Since we are now in a digital era, she was able to incorporate songs using the speaker so that everyone could hear well and be able to enjoy the music even better. But, I believe that as teachers, we are still the best medium for nurturing the seeds of knowledge of our pupils.
Sources of learning and technology used by the teachers
When we were touring around the Future School, there are libraries available for use and all kinds of books that they might need for their classes. There are maps and globes placed for convenience, and they even have an applied linguistics center wherein students can learn foreign languages and sign language.
Some rooms are also provided by a television for the teachers to use for motivation or presenting their lesson. Teachers are also allowed to bring their laptops, speakers, or any device that may be of used for innovative learning.

Authentic Assessment
The only authentic assessment my cooperating teacher was able to use during the time I was observing would be observing her pupils. I only observed once and I knew that my cooperating teacher has anecdotal records or rubrics when she assesses her pupils.
But as far as I knew, the Future Integrated School also has portfolios to keep the collection of their pupils' work. They also give out projects to establish collaboration with the parents and holds performances.
