TEACHING PRACTICE
PROCEDURES ON TEACHING
The first day of my teaching practice was a memorable and nerve-wracking one because I remember almost panicking with my co-teachers from the Philippines since we waited for a long time for the bus going to our practicum school, which is the Future Integrated School.
When me and my assistant teacher arrived in the classroom, our pupils were already obediently seated on their seats, waiting for us. So, I immediately started my class with a slow and simple greeting with gestures to make sure that they can understand.
I was relieved to see them excited to see a new teacher and eager to learn from me. We sang a movement song and enjoyed dancing and singing together. After I finished settling them down, I showed my Chinese Paper Lantern, which is the product of our class for that day and I observed that they were also enthusiastic and wanted to build their own.
I taught them the process and made sure that everyone finished before moving to the next step. I provided stamps and coloring materials to give them the freedom of designing their own paper lanterns.
While they are busy doing their task, I roamed around the room to observe if they are having a hard time folding and gluing the paper together. This helps me to learn if they need any assistance.

TIME MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZING ACTIVITIES
I always go to my classes 30 minutes or an hour early so that I am well-prepared and avoid cramming. Me and my assistant teacher would usually prepare our teaching materials, arrange the tables and chairs, and set the television up so that when our pupils enter the classroom, we are all set to start on time.
Being able to manage your classroom well really tells how you are as a teacher because it shows how you create a supportive and positive environment for your pupils. If your pupils are well-managed, they are more likely to be engaged in learning and reduce disruptive behaviors during class.
This goes the same way when you organize your activities. As long as your pupils know what to expect, understand your lessons well, and provided by the right materials, they will be willing to do your activities. It is also beneficial for us teachers to have well-organized activities because it helps to reduce our stress and make efficient use of our time.

PROBLEM-SOLVING
As I was teaching young children, I will take the initiative to ask them if they need help when I notice they have a hard time doing the process because they still won't know exactly if what they are doing is right or wrong. It is best to ask them first and help them correct their errors so that they will be aware.
CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
Being able to manage your classroom well really tells how you are as a teacher because it shows how you create a supportive and positive environment for your pupils. If your pupils are well-managed, they are more likely to be engaged in learning and reduce disruptive behaviors during class.
As teachers, we should always be flexible so that when things don't go according to our plans in the classroom, we will be able to adjust our activities and ensure that our student's learning won't be disrupted.
